To use GPSS you need a computer with a version of Microsoft Windows®.
If you only want a demonstration of what GPSS can do you don't need a
portable computer or a GPS receiver, as GPSS can simulate movement (around
the Ascot area) on a desk-bound PC. To see the full potential though you
need a laptop computer, a GPS receiver and a cable to connect the latter
to the computer's serial port.
GPSS is free-of-charge for personal use; after downloading and trying
the software you just have to fill in a simple form to get free
registration.
- You use GPSS at your own risk - including having accidents or getting
lost!
