Nodes

There are two types of node. An entity node has these properties recorded in the database:

• a reference to the corresponding feature (only if there is just one point feature for each node, and not mandatory even then)
• the foreign key of the containing face
• its coordinates

A connected node has these properties recorded in the database:

• a reference to the corresponding feature (only if there is just one point feature for each node, and not mandatory even then)
• the foreign key of the first edge
• its coordinates

Connected nodes are not very important. There are no connected nodes in the DCW (despite the fact that they're supposed to be mandatory for full topology!).
